About The Position

Drive quality into new products, existing product updates, and material transfers, ensuring quality is proactive and not just reactive. Serve as a liaison between quality and cross-functional teams, ensuring all quality requirements are understood, executed in a timely fashion, and reported out.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of experience with deliverables and tasks as part of New Product Development

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience with quality deliverables as part of New Product Development.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with manufacturing processes.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and Project.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions.
• Experience managing projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience reviewing engineering changes.
• Self-direction and organization skills to ensure quality deliverables are properly managed.
• PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partners with program and project managers to represent Quality in all aspects.
• Serves as a local expert in quality-related tasks during new product development.
• Applies robust quality analysis tools to identify risks and complexity and how to manage and reduce them.
• Develops and presents quality requirements plans to ensure all parties involved understand the requirements.
• Works with engineering and manufacturing to ensure the quality impacts of an engineering change meet all the requirements.
• Identifies areas for continuous improvement that can be driven into new products, existing products, and custom components.
• Collaborates with other Quality disciplines to ensure all programs and projects meet their needs for conducting
• Other Quality tasks.
