This Program Planner position provides planning/scheduling support for the Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program). What is Program Planning to Lockheed Martin? Summary of Key Duties The ADP Program Planning Associate Team member for this position is a self-starter and relationship builder supporting an integrated team within the Skunk Works various platforms to ensure successful program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system. This position has shared responsibility for schedule baseline management and control as well as assisting in monthly variance analysis. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of schedules. Candidate will also integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on both existing and future plans. Candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production and quality control. This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of program and project planning and scheduling products and practices and will be instrumental in the resultant remediation activities upon identification of gaps. Primary Tools Used: 1. Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool 2. Milestones Professional 3. Microsoft Excel Secondary Tools Used (Not limited to): 1. Microsoft Project 2. SAP

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel expertise strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical abilities
  • Experience working with networked schedules and understanding schedule logic
  • Ability to develop and deliver briefings to teams and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Interim Secret Security Clearance to start

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Deltek Tools (Open Plan, Acumen, PM Compass), Milestones Professional, and Microsoft Project
  • Strong communication, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to solving schedule and integration challenges
  • Organizational excellence, attention to detail, and skilled at handling fast paced, high visibility tasks
  • Understanding of Critical Path Methodology and schedule health metrics
  • Knowledge of Earned Value concepts, Schedule Performance Management, and Start Green / Stay Green processes
  • Ability to perform schedule quality checks, integrity checks, and identify root cause drivers/impacts of tasks
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance
