About The Position

The Program Operations & Accounting Associate II provides operational and administrative support for Stifel Charitable, Inc., ensuring accurate and timely processing of donor-advised fund transactions and related activities. This role collaborates closely with the Accounting Manager and other team members to maintain compliance, streamline workflows, and deliver exceptional service to donors and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in problem-solving.
  • Minimum Required: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum Required: 3+ years' of operational or administrative experience.
  • Minimum Required: None.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Experience with data entry or operational processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial services or nonprofit operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Accounting Manager with operational tasks related to Stifel Charitable’s accounting processes, including reconciliations and reporting assistance.
  • Process and monitor donor-advised fund transactions, grant distributions, and related program activities in accordance with established policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth program operations.
  • Assist with process improvements, system updates, and special projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide high-level client service through professional written and verbal communication.
  • Cross-train to support other operational roles during peak periods or absences.
