The Program Manager oversees the sales and engineering project portfolio, working on multiple projects of moderate to large size while efficiently managing time to stay within budget and ensure timely delivery. This role is responsible for various design elements necessary to complete engineering projects, systems, components, or systems in collaboration with team members, with clear and specified objectives. The Program Manager ensures that project engineering activities comply with contract requirements and support the overall project schedule, scope, and budget. They are tasked with delivering all projects on time and within scope, preparing complete project documentation that includes plans, specifications, and engineer estimates, and organizing project data. Additionally, the Program Manager evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments, formulates and solves problems, and conducts meetings with internal teams to plan and track deliverables. This position requires cross-functional collaboration and the ability to influence various teams such as Engineering, Production, Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Procurement to improve deployment efficiency. The Program Manager interprets contract specifications, resolves conflicts with stakeholders, participates in customer meetings, and addresses client, engineering, and management project issues. They maintain a list of project milestones and issues in progress, assess and communicate project status, and escalate potential risks and delays across multiple teams. The role also involves solving standard work gaps, identifying lessons learned, and proposing continuous improvements to drive global deployment scalability.
