About The Position

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Program Sr Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. The Program Manager (PM) provides management, schedule, direction, administration and quality assurance in the execution of an integrated and responsive operations and sustainment program in support of the ISR mission. This includes cyber, IT, engineering, security, logistics, intelligence analytics and training for HQ staff and subordinate organizations. The PM is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, to include both technical issues and business processes. The PM will be proactive in alerting the Government to potential issues and resource limitation issues and be available within two hours of notification to meet with Government representatives.

Requirements

  • Active Project Management Institute (PMI), Program Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Minimum 10 years Department of War (DoW) program management experience in intelligence analytics and/or technology.
  • Recent experience managing a program with at least 500 FTEs across multiple locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field from a college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Experience overseeing and implementing large-scale DoW programs and initiatives.
  • Experience with SOFA requirements, regulations, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management, schedule, direction, administration and quality assurance in the execution of an integrated operations and sustainment program.
  • Lead and guide contractor personnel assigned to the task order (TO).
  • Assign tasks to contractor personnel and supervise ongoing technical efforts.
  • Manage overall TO performance and ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Proactively alert the Government to potential issues and resource limitations.
