About The Position

The Senior/Principal Project Manager will play a crucial role in the development of an implantable medical device by coordinating with internal firmware/software architects and third-party vendors. This position is essential for ensuring that the project aligns with strategic objectives, adheres to regulatory requirements, and meets key milestones and deliverables.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the field.
• 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience.
• 8+ years of experience with medical devices.
• Experience with Class III Medical Devices.
• Experience coordinating/managing projects utilizing 3rd party vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans aligning with strategic objectives of the program, including master schedules, budgets, program milestones, and key program tasks and deliverables.
• Provide guidance and direction to the core team to define clear goals and evaluate progress.
• Identify and assist in clearing barriers to effective progress.
• Resolve program resource issues and facilitate reallocation of activities and efforts to ensure schedules are achieved.
• Conduct financial evaluations of programs.
• Facilitate all core team meetings and track progress against the project plan.
• Comply with US FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
