The Head of Program Management at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) is a pivotal role responsible for leading the Program Management (PM) team at the College Station, TX site. This position is crucial for overseeing all customer programs from the point of contract signature through to program closure, ensuring that all aspects of program governance are effectively managed both internally and externally. The Head of Program Management will be accountable for the planning and delivery of programs, which includes maintaining a comprehensive overview of program performance and managing relevant escalations to appropriate levels. In addition to managing the PM team, the Head of Program Management will serve as the primary liaison with the sales force, ensuring that all programs are aligned with the Master Project plans and financial metrics. This role requires active participation in the SandOP processes and collaboration with various departments including Global Program Management, Commercial Sales, and Quality Assurance. The individual will also be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement by deploying best practices globally and seeking efficiencies within the program management processes. The Head of Program Management will engage with all areas of the organization, including other PM groups globally, to ensure that customer services and deliveries are aligned with relevant stakeholders. This position also involves providing guidance and coaching to the PM organization, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the role. The Head of Program Management will report directly to the site head while also having a dotted line to the Global Head of PM, integrating global improvements at the site level.
