Role Overview Alden is seeking a Program Manager, a cross-organizational leader who brings structure, speed, and accountability to complex, multi-disciplinary programs. You will own the delivery rhythm that connects Alden's core divisions: Science, Engineering, Software, Operations, Regulatory/Quality, and Strategic Partnerships. Your mission: translate strategy into execution through sprint-based cycles, transparent reporting, and a culture of predictable delivery. This role blends precision and agility, purpose-built for a company that ships both science and hardware in a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in technology environments.
  • Proven ability to organize complex projects across multiple functions.
  • Skilled in sprint and milestone planning, task tracking, and stakeholder updates.
  • Exceptional clarity in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong command of project management tools.

  • Exposure to regulated or quality-controlled environments (AOAC, ISO, FDA).

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Organization Partner with division leaders to define project scopes, deliverables, and task lists, ensuring no workstream or dependency is missed.
  • Build and maintain project boards that reflect accurate tasks, owners, and deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain milestone schedules for active projects across all divisions.
  • Progress Management Run planning sessions, weekly check-ins, and progress reviews with each division.
  • Track task completion, blockers, and dependencies; ensure work is advancing toward deadlines.
  • Document team sentiment on progress, risks, and resource needs; surface concerns early.
  • Maintain summaries and progress visuals for leadership review.
  • Coordination and Communication Serve as the day-to-day project coordinator across Science, Hardware, Software, Operations, and Commercial.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment and resolve task conflicts or overlaps.
  • Keep meeting notes, decisions, and next steps clearly documented and circulated after each session.
  • Reporting and Tracking Generate weekly division reports summarizing what's complete, what's in progress, and what's at risk.
  • Prepare executive summaries highlighting milestones, delays, and key decisions needed.
  • Maintain high-quality project data to ensure dashboards and reports stay current.
  • Continuous Improvement Refine project workflows and templates for consistency across teams.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve visibility and execution speed.
  • Help teams adopt repeatable sprint rhythms and structured updates without adding unnecessary overhead.
