About The Position

Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, self-directed individual to fill the Air Force Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) Program Manager position. This position will oversee the task order (TO) and have overall accountability of the TO. To facilitate efficient operations under this TO, the BIM PM shall: Serve as the main POC for all Vendor personnel Have a technical background that facilitates understanding of U.S. Government (USG) technical requirements and communication with the program management office (PMO) Manage program personnel’s performance and ensure effective execution of program goals and objectives Coordinate, integrate, plan, and oversee tasks, functions, contractor administration and management, cost management, SLA, and reporting to USG on all activities under the contract Ensure that all work performed meets the program requirements within schedule and staffing constraints of the contract Work closely with the PMO and specified personnel to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of critical objectives in a timely manner Manage all subcontractor interface requirements Notify the PMO of any problems or issues that may impact program execution and performance and provide risk mitigation solutions Ensure employees are knowledgeable and comply with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards when working on installations Successfully implement QA practices and continual improvement practices Conduct monthly Program Management Reviews (PMR) The position will be located in Sterling, VA, or other select locations based on contract requirements, and may support a hybrid work schedule. The final approved work schedule arrangement will be coordinated with the hiring manager. This position may require travel of 10%-20%.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ related experience
  • Proven ability and experience to understand complex network deployments across multiple bases’ operations and associated personnel qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with progressive responsibility in project/program management of technical programs
  • Prior experience in managing the full project lifecycle (requirements, design, research/engineering, test, documentation, and maintenance)
  • Proven technical background that facilitates understanding of USG technical requirements and communication with the PMO
  • Prior management experience of teams and subcontractors in handling goal setting, performance reviews, merit planning, personnel issues, talent development, etc.
  • Proven track record of collaboration within and across teams and organizations
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA standards

Nice To Haves

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 5 years’ experience managing DAF programs and/or knowledge of DAF-relevant projects and Department of Air Force (DAF) Acquisition.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
