Essential Functions: Provides leadership and manages the daily operations of a program within the Engineering Department Directs, develops, and motivates staff to meet the objectives that assist in achieving the District's strategic plan Plan, organize and direct all activities of a program as required to achieve program goals Manage and supervise the daily activities of personnel assigned to the program Coordinate activities with other programs within the Division and the Department; maintain working relationship with public officials Maintain records and prepare reports Regular functions may include but are not limited to coordinating activities with District legal staff, coordinating activities with other Departments within the District, attend and/or conduct public hearings and presentations. Additional Responsibilities: May assist in developing departmental policies, procedures and guidelines Perform related duties as required or delegated by supervisor
