Job Summary To support our rapid growth, CoolSys Energy Solutions (CES) is seeking a Program Manager who will be responsible for design and delivery of strategic programs through project planning and by interfacing with stakeholders on a regular basis in full compliance with customers’ requirements and company standards.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to 3+ years of progressive program management experience in commercial building construction, refrigeration, HVAC or a related industry/trade.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills, including knowledge of automated project management tools, financial reports and general knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects, setting and balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills.
  • Frequent overnight travel is required, estimated at 30% - 50%.
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to solve complex business problems and apply good judgement.
  • Excellent verbal/nonverbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate timely, clearly, and concisely.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills, including the ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns, and forge strong working relationships with senior level customer representatives and contractors.
  • Demonstrated track record of accurate project estimating, labor forecasting and change control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
  • Ability to use computer tools including MS Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, etc.
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • BA degree preferred.
  • PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains long term relationships with customers and resolves customers’ issues and problems ensuring their expectations and requirements are met. Effectively manages customers’ expectations.
  • Leads and coordinates multiple project teams, manages day to day program development and execution.
  • Develops effective and unambiguous program metrics and requirements in accordance with customer’s cost, schedule, and performance expectations.
  • Ensures program revenue and costs are accurately forecasted.
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Provides reporting and analytics to measure KPIs as required.
  • Ensures program effectiveness through proactive risk and opportunity management
  • Ensures proactive implementation of appropriate improvement activities in collaboration with the stakeholders.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
