About The Position

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the Air National Guard Service Maintenance Contract. This position oversees all program activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and government regulations. The Program Manager directs service operations, quality control, and customer support functions to achieve performance objectives and maintain the highest standards of service delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the customer, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment with mission readiness goals while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency across all contract sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of Service Program management
  • Knowledge of electronic alarm & access control systems and sensors
  • Proven, strong program management skills and ability to manage field personnel remotely
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with all levels
  • Excellent computer skills including high working knowledge of Windows NT, XP, MS Office and MS SQL
  • Knowledge of Great Plains software plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of the Air National Guard Service Maintenance Contract, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and government representatives, maintaining strong communication and fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Direct, manage, and support field and service personnel to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of maintenance and support services.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure contractual, operational, and financial objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure the preparation and submission of accurate, monthly on-time billing sheets and supporting documentation in accordance with contract and company requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to support mission requirements and operational readiness.
  • Enforce adherence to company service policies, safety protocols, and quality control procedures across all contract locations.
  • Lead regular contract performance reviews, status meetings, and reporting activities to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, HR, and Operations, to ensure coordinated execution of program objectives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to assigned staff to promote professional growth, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Travel as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
