About The Position

Program Manager – HYBRID - Government Sector POSITION DESCRIPTION: Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company seeking a Program Manager to support Federal agency customers, ensuring all performance and standards are adhered to under the terms of the contract. We provide professional services to the federal government, specializing in staffing. This is a staff position supporting multiple contracts in our back office, not a contract specific role. This is a full-time opportunity and eligible for benefits through Intelligence Federal. Our company was named one of the Best Places to Work in 2024 by the Washington Business Journal. Ideally, this position will work in a hybrid capacity, reporting to our Vienna, VA headquarters once or twice a week. The role may require occasional travel into Washington, DC to visit client worksites. Please note that we are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team
  • Must have a working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and can work effectively with executive leadership teams
  • Must be a team player

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Program Management experience in the government sector a big plus
  • Should have a PMP certification (If not, you must be wiling to work toward obtaining one, as many contracts require this.)

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and executes work across a growing number of federal agency contracts
  • Directs project team personnel
  • Manages cost and schedule
  • Ensures contract compliance
  • Participates in all phases of the capture and proposal processes
  • Formulates and enforces work standards
  • Hires and supervises Contractor personnel
  • Identifies potential risk and problem areas and provides recommended solutions
  • Regularly briefs senior leadership on program status and milestones
  • Manage acquisition, financial and administrative aspects of the program/project
  • Assists with maintenance of office certifications including ISO, CMMI, etc.
