About The Position

In this role, you will provide overall leadership and strategic oversight for a complex government program delivering cybersecurity and IT support services. You will act as the primary interface with senior Navy stakeholders, ensuring alignment across mission objectives, contractual requirements, and operational execution. This position combines program governance, team leadership, and customer engagement within a highly regulated federal environment. You will guide multidisciplinary technical teams while maintaining strict compliance with Department of Defense and Navy cybersecurity frameworks. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Systems Management, or another STEM discipline, or a Project Management Professional certification in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing teams in information technology environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity program management.
  • Proven experience serving as a Program Manager interfacing directly with the Navy on large-scale IT or cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework, authorization and accreditation processes, and cybersecurity lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance in a federal contracting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior government leadership.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the overall program lead and primary point of contact with Navy stakeholders, providing leadership, direction, and accountability across all contract activities.
  • Oversee program execution by aligning resources, schedules, deliverables, and staffing with contractual and mission requirements.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across cybersecurity, information assurance, and IT functions, including senior technical and compliance roles.
  • Ensure continuity of services, including transition planning and coordination in accordance with federal acquisition regulations.
  • Supervise personnel performance, validate work products, and review all deliverables prior to submission.
  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity and information assurance policies, including Risk Management Framework processes and Navy standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison for subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and government program managers.
  • Prepare and present program status reports, risk assessments, schedules, and documentation to leadership.
  • Identify risks, track mitigation actions, and implement corrective measures to ensure program stability and mission success.
