Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred. At least two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Has successfully completed all training requirements
  • Must pass caregiver background check
  • Effective oral and written communication necessary
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds along with the physical demands listed in the Physical Abilities with or without accommodations
  • This position requires a valid Motor Vehicles License, and the individual must meet the Brotoloc North qualification criteria to operate company vehicles. Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of treatment modalities specific to persons with a developmental disability, a mental illness diagnosis, elderly, and traumatic brain injury preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees per Brotoloc North policy and procedures
  • Schedule, coordinate, and provide planned care to the clients of the facility in a clean and safe living environment
  • Coordinate all staff training requirements
  • Develop and implement an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) for each client of the facility
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the buildings and grounds associated with the facility
  • Assist the Regional Director and/or intake person in the assessment of potential clients placed at the facility
  • Coordinate the routine maintenance of the vehicles and equipment utilized at the facility
  • Assist Director of Health Services in the administration of all prescribed medications and over the counter medications
  • Coordinate appointments and leisure time activities
  • Transport clients as needed
  • Provide required progress reports and Individualized Service Plan (ISP) updates to client case manager, guardian, and others
