NetImpact Strategies is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary technical team supporting a large-scale digital modernization effort. This onsite role, based in Alexandria, VA, will provide strategic direction, ensure program delivery excellence, and oversee day-to-day operations across helpdesk, systems, and network teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience driving transformation within complex enterprise environments.

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team providing helpdesk, systems administration, and network engineering support
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of digital modernization initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee program operations including resource allocation, prioritization, and risk/issue management
  • Track, manage, and report program metrics, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate across technical teams to ensure fully integrated modernization activities
  • Establish operational standards, quality controls, and continuous improvement practices
  • Support budget management, forecasting, and contract compliance
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security requirements, and policy frameworks
  • Mentor team leads and staff to promote a high-performance culture
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in a related technical or management discipline
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience managing IT programs or projects of similar size and complexity
  • Experience leading helpdesk, systems administration, or network engineering teams
  • Demonstrated success delivering modernization or digital transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage program scope, schedule, budget, and risk
  • US Citizenship eligible for a Public Trust
  • Ability to work onsite in Alexandria, VA
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile/Scrum certification
  • ITIL Foundations or higher certification
  • Experience supporting federal IT programs
  • Experience with enterprise service management, cloud modernization, or infrastructure transformation
  • Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in federal environments
