Program Manager
About The Position
The Program Manager is responsible for leading product development programs from concept through production release, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. This role manages cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and marketing to deliver projects on time and within budget. Scope This position operates at an intermediate level of responsibility, focusing on managing programs of moderate complexity. The Program Manager ensures adherence to established processes and supports continuous improvement initiatives without direct responsibility for strategic process development.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business required
- 5–7 years of experience as a program manager or in a related engineering role
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
Nice To Haves
- PMP certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets
- Identify and mitigate risks and deviations
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities to meet program objectives
