About The Position

As one of the fastest-growing academic health centers in the nation, Texas A&M Health encompasses five colleges and numerous centers and institutes working together to improve health through transformative education, innovative research and team-based health care delivery. The Program Manager of Implementation supports the TOPS project lead, who serves as the implementation core area lead. The Implementation Program Manager manages daily operations of the TOPS (Texas A&M Opioid Prevention for Students), including supporting and coordinating implementation and community engagement project activities, allocating resources, liaising with external partners involved in the project, ensuring timely completion, adhering to the grant budget, and compliance with funding requirements. Salary: W ill be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience . Schedule: Full-Time; This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends. Location: College Station, TX; This position may require travel for project activities and dissemination. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Public health, working with grants, project management or related areas.

Nice To Haves

• A Master’s degree in a related field for basic health knowledge regarding public health risk factors for health and illness and interventions for ameliorating major public health problems related to chronic diseases and/or substance abuse.
• A research Master’s Degree in related data analytical field (e.g. public health, biostatistics)
• Three years or more related professional experience in clinical or public health field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and guide all analytic aspects of project work.
• Proven track record in designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs/curriculum for youth.
• Experience developing innovative, engaging curricula, particularly in health, prevention, or wellness fields.
• Skilled in adapting program models to meet varied school and community needs.

• Professional background in substance use prevention, opioid misuse prevention, or behavioral/mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with evidence-based prevention models, trauma-informed approaches, and youth resilience frameworks.
• Comfortable delivering training, workshops, or technical assistance on behavioral health topics.

Responsibilities

• Program Management Develop programs and deliver or support delivery from a statewide perspective.
• Design, plan, and coordinate social science research studies, including program planning and evaluation activities.
• Collaborate with partner organizations, community stakeholders, and research teams to co-develop research priorities, ensure successful implementation of project activities, and ensure findings are relevant and actionable.
• Manage implementation and community engagement activities and handle challenges that arise.
• Manage and support analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using appropriate software and techniques (such as Qualtrics and REDCap); maintain organized and secure data records.
• Disseminates Research Findings Summarize and disseminate results for inclusion in peer-reviewed publications, policy briefs, reports, and presentations tailored to academic, community, and practitioner audiences.
• Supervise undergraduate and/or graduate students and research assistants involved in program implementation data collection, analysis, and program evaluation projects.
• Program Evaluation and Reporting Drafts study interim and final reports Assist the Implementation Core Lead with program level monitoring and tracking evaluation metrics.
• Provide the Implementation Core Lead with data-driven recommendations for program improvement.
• Assist with program-level grant reporting.
• Training Develops and maintains training materials for internal and external users.
• Trains undergraduate and/or graduate students and other staff involved in program implementation and research.
