About The Position

The Program Manager is responsible for leading the execution of a large scale data management modernization program in close partnership with the Chief Data Officer (CDO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and enterprise stakeholders. The Program Manager provides end to end oversight across multiple workstreams, ensuring program goals, delivery plans, financials, and outcomes remain aligned with Cetera’s strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8 + years of experience in project and program management
  • Proven experience managing enterprise level projects or programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong experience with PMO operations, governance frameworks, and resource planning
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs, track program performance, and deliver executive level reporting.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Expertise in level risk identification and mitigation
  • People leadership experience, including mentoring and managing project and program managers.
  • Proficiency with project and program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Clarity, Jira, or equivalent)
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and decision making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
  • Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise change initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the CDO to define, validate, and govern program goals, structure, and delivery framework
  • Ensuring ongoing alignment between program outcomes and enterprise strategy
  • Developing and maintaining an integrated program plan using Microsoft Project, inclusive of milestones, dependencies, and resources
  • Establishing and tracking business and IT KPIs to measure progress and value realization
  • Coordinating Agile/Scrum execution across workstreams and ensuring consistent application of best practices
  • Managing cross workstream dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations
  • Providing consolidated program level status reporting for executive and steering committee review
  • Overseeing financial tracking, budget management, and scope or funding change governance
  • Supporting executive level and board level communications and presentations
  • Driving business readiness, transition planning, and go to market coordination
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks to timeline, budget, and delivery outcomes
