CGI Federal is looking for a Program Manager to help support a program we are working on for the Army's PL ALTESS contract. PL ALTESS, or Product Lead for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services, is a key U.S. Army organization providing IT services and support to the Army and Department of Defense. As a managed service provider, ALTESS delivers infrastructure, platform, and application services across data centers and commercial clouds. It plays a crucial role in modernizing IT systems by migrating them to the cloud and managing mission-critical applications to ensure Army readiness. ALTESS oversees IT service delivery across various hosting locations, aligning with Department of Defense digital transformation strategies as part of PEO Enterprise. This position is located in Radford, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: serve as the single point of contact for all matters pertaining to this contract. The PM shall exercise comprehensive oversight of all contractor personnel and activities, ensuring adherence to the PWS and applicable standards. The PM shall possess the authority to commit contractor resources and make binding decisions on behalf of the contractor organization. The PM's responsibilities include but are not limited to; development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets; management of contract performance; quality control; risk mitigation; stakeholder engagement; and proactive communication of potential issues to the Government. The PM shall maintain a continuous on-site presence and shall be responsive to all Government inquiries and concerns.

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III in Program Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline able to manage large scale IT contracts of similar size and scope.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to meet the requirement of developing and presenting complex information to senior government officials using MS Office Suite applications.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in computer science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience deploying large scale HW and SW systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites.
