About The Position

Aleknagik Technology, LLC is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Program Manager . This position provides overall leadership, coordination, and delivery oversight for enterprise data governance initiatives supporting a federal health organization. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring all technical, governance, quality, and compliance activities are executed in alignment with the Statement of Objectives (SOO), contract requirements, and DHA mission priorities. This role requires close collaboration with government stakeholders, technical leads, security personnel, and contractor staff. The selected candidate must be within commuting distance of Falls Church, VA, as this role requires on-site and hybrid support in alignment with customer requirements. Duties The Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end program execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination across all data governance workstreams. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in:
  • Program or project management for complex technical or data-focused initiatives
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, analytics, QA)
  • Federal, DoD, or healthcare-related IT or data programs
  • Delivering programs under formal Statements of Work/Objectives (SOW/SOO)
  • Risk, issue, and dependency management in regulated environments
  • Stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication
  • Oversight of compliance, quality assurance, and audit readiness activities
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as:
  • Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Data Analytics
  • Business or Management
  • Mathematics or Physical Sciences

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, or SAFe certification
  • Experience supporting DHA, DoD health systems, or large-scale data governance programs
  • Familiarity with VAULTIS principles, DoD Data Strategy, or enterprise data catalogs

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall program leadership for enterprise data governance initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer, Aleknagik Technology leadership, and technical delivery teams.
  • Ensure program activities align with the Statement of Objectives (SOO), contract scope, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate and integrate work across data governance architecture, engineering, AI/ML, metadata analysis, and quality assurance teams.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency tracking.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, including mitigation strategies and escalation paths.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, DHA, HIPAA, FISMA, RMF, and Zero Trust requirements across all program activities.
  • Lead program governance forums, status reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Monitor deliverable quality, acceptance criteria, and performance outcomes in coordination with the QA function.
  • Ensure required program documentation, artifacts, and reports are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Manage subcontractor and internal resources, ensuring staffing levels and skill sets align with program needs.
  • Support change management, scope control, and impact assessments for evolving requirements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), operational readiness activities, and transition planning.
  • Support workforce adoption, training coordination, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Ensure sustainment planning and continuity of operations are addressed throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Support optional federated governance pilots and data product lifecycle initiatives when exercised.
