About The Position

The Program Manager is accountable for the personnel, operational and financial management of assigned program(s) to ensure the delivery of competent, compassionate and efficient clinical care, promotion of research and clinical education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in program management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and supervises all business and administrative activities relating to program operations and budget, including daily workflow for HR processes, student and academic administration, fiscal management, admission support, and coordination of departmental projects, events and routine operational activities.
  • Provides administrative leadership for the program and promotes teamwork by fostering an environment of collaboration, communication, and problem solving.
  • Serves as a liaison between institutional departments and external groups to assess needs and support the development of program-related plans and budgets.
  • Leads interdepartmental collaboration to enhance coordinated services across academic, administrative, operational, and student-related functions.
  • Coordinates program operations with internal and external partners, to support program activities, events, admissions processes and academic operations.
  • Assists in identifying potential funding sources for the program and prepares, monitors and reconciles program budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Evaluates services and operational processes to maintain compliance with applicable contracts, policies, and internal controls, and reviews existing contracts for renewal.
  • Recommends hiring and termination of supervised employees and supports HR and supervisory activities including coordinating interviews and providing ongoing guidance to administrative staff.
  • Facilitates development of goals, performance standards, and objectives through coordinated planning and administrative support activities.
  • Identifies and evaluates the need for equipment, supplies, and information or communication services to support program operations.
  • Initiates implementation plans for new projects, operational initiatives and program services, coordinating activities and resources to ensure successful execution.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting requirements, and institutional policies to ensure compliant and accurate program operations.
  • May assist in grant writing.
  • Performs related duties as required.
