Under the AimHire Division Director (DD) supervision, the HVRP Program Manager supports HVRP by promoting the vision and delivery of person-centered workforce development services at Friendship Place. Using the HVRP model, this position supports program development and delivers impact-driven outcomes through public and private partners. The HVRP Program Manager will be key in conducting participant, provider, and employer outreach to ensure robust referrals and connections to key supports, services, and stakeholders across DC. The position must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups of people and have a strong commitment to serve individuals who are unemployed/underemployed, living with substance abuse and mental health issues, connected to the criminal justice system, and/or experiencing homelessness. (Veterans, Seniors, LGBTQ+, etc.). This position must demonstrate the ability to make sound and timely decisions related to program needs, complete detailed and timely data reporting to funders, and be well-versed in program administration. This position must also be able to work collaboratively with other departments, participants, and stakeholders to support conflict resolution, program consistency, and program. This position is 100% supported by a grant from the US Department of Labor - Veterans Employment & Training Services (VETS) Division.
