About The Position

The Program Manager will support a multiyear, $5 billion project, requiring extensive program management experience in large facilities projects. This role involves high visibility and necessitates strong stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with unions and executive-level decision-makers. The Program Manager will work independently in a fast-paced environment, facilitating cross-functional projects and providing senior operations leadership with insights for high-priority initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project manager certification (PMP).
  • Thorough knowledge of IT project management principles, including Agile.
  • Deep domain expertise in project execution methodologies such as risk and issue management, scope management, and cost management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage staff and multiple complex projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint, and PPM.
  • Well-developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support a multiyear, $5 billion project.
  • Work with stakeholders, including unions and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Facilitate delivery of cross-functional projects and programs at a university level.
  • Provide senior operations leadership with insights for high-priority efforts.
  • Develop project plans and artifacts independently.
  • Communicate detailed updates to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies and processes.
  • Assist with process improvement efforts in collaboration with the Process Improvement team.
  • Provide training and support on tools and templates, including reports and delivery trackers.
  • Produce executive-level reporting and metrics for senior leadership.
