The position involves managing and driving products through the R&D NPI process, completing Phase Exit gates, and delivering qualified products that meet NPI deliverables to the Operations team. The role requires coordinating customer meetings and communications, responding to customer requests, and developing and managing the project schedule. The individual will communicate status and escalate gaps to plan to stakeholders, serving as the primary team interface with the design team, internal support groups, operations team, and marketing. Setting, managing, and communicating expectations to the project team, management, and other stakeholders is crucial. The role also involves identifying and managing project resource constraints, dependencies, and critical paths to accomplish program goals and resolving issues. Additionally, managing material supply to ensure build configuration and schedule will support required NPI deliverables and coordinating manufacturing deliverables with manufacturing and supply chain team members is essential. Some travel for development activities may be required to enable global team coordination, product transfer, and problem resolution.
