About The Position

As a Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and coordinate complex aerospace projects, ensuring they align with industry standards and customer expectations while driving successful outcomes across various phases of the program. You will report directly to our Program Director, and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL or Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of aerospace programs by managing project elements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Working experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • 5+ years of project and/or program management experience.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to make sound and timely judgments in an ambiguous environment.
  • Proficiency in PM tools and development processes, including scheduling, cost management, and risk management.

  • Proven excellence in effective communication, interactive engagement, and presentation skills, driving alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders (internal and external)

Responsibilities

  • Customer coordination for current program and subsequent phases including control of deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Application of change, risk and resource management
  • Resolve projects' higher scope issues
  • Review and approval of reports for Customer, Program Directors and Leadership
  • Support bids and proposals
  • Define and implement the program-level Management Operating System (MOS)
  • Employ PM tools and development processes, including statement-of-work (SOW), work-breakdown- structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, scope / requirements management, scheduling, and cost management
  • Execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality demonstrating program management skills in the following areas: Scheduling, including resource-loading and critical path analysis
  • SOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru-resourced Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Earned Value Management
  • Financials
  • Risk Management (Identification & Mitigation)
  • Reporting / Reviews, and Communications
  • WBS Work Package level metric management, including CPI/SPI/EAC
  • Understand budget/schedule & programmatic details
  • Set high performance expectations; remove roadblocks to allow team to achieve
  • Present big-picture view of schedule & budget to team, internal and external stakeholders, & leaders
  • Summarize key issues & actions & drive closure
  • Present program status to stakeholders
  • Partner with key functions like product management, business, PMO, engineering, integrated supply chain, customer and product support, and other representation to understand, define, prioritize, status, and deliver upon requirements
  • Establish and maintain the channels of communication to assure timely management awareness of program progress and issues
