About The Position

The Program Manager will perform a variety of duties such as working with the program director to handle program strategies, budgets, and policies related to the programs of HCAR. This role involves ensuring effective execution of program goals, transcribing correspondence, composing routine correspondence, developing program schedules, overseeing budgeting expenses, and preparing documentation for grants. The Program Manager will also assist in planning and overseeing significant events, maintain accurate attendance records, and ensure compliance with various operating requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least two years of related experience and/or training.
  • High-level management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program director to ensure processes to achieve organizational goals.
  • Transcribe correspondence and case notes from rough notes or voice recordings.
  • Compose and write routine correspondence as appropriate.
  • Develop program schedules, oversee budgeting expenses, connect with event venues, and write instructional documents.
  • File correspondence and other records and update participants' files as needed.
  • Prepare documentation for grants.
  • Assist in planning and overseeing significant events.
  • Maintain accurate participants attendance records.
  • Make copies of correspondence or other printed matter.
  • Oversee various projects and implement them to ensure alignment with HCAR's mission and program goals.
  • Build a budget for the program and ensure all projects stay within this budget.
  • Coordinate individual support plans (ISP) by identifying participants' annual goals.
  • Provide staff training on basic positive behavioral support and person-centered thinking strategies.
  • Supervise staff working with participants.
