This position will be a part of the Program Management team that supports Strategic Programs within the DSAS Business in order to drive the commercial success of new products for the DSAS Division.
Responsible for program creation and management of strategic customer engagements, partnering with necessary internal product and engineering stakeholders to ensure overall success of the program.
Responsible for integration and onboarding of new business opportunities/partners or emerging areas.
Coordinates and aligns activities to successfully integrate internal stakeholder and new customer engagements into the DSAS portfolio.
Ability to partner internally and externally with professional service companies to drive complex solutions.
Demonstrate critical and strategic thinking skills to anticipate market forces and assess complex scenarios.
Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria.
Create formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Plan, communicate and align geographically dispersed and functionally diverse teams to execute tasks with efficiency and to high standards.
Leverage cross-team collaboration to drive buy-in and gain alignment.
Support escalation and risk management processes for the existing portfolio of programs.
Facilitate challenging and transparent conversations with leadership on the portfolio and specific projects.
Responsible for developing, coaching, motivating staff members, providing guidance as appropriate.
Bachelor degree in project management, technology, engineering, business or related fields.
5-7 years of program and process management experience required.
2-5 years vendor management or business development experience required.
Program management experience related to partner management, business transformation and new product launches in a highly matrixed environment.
Proficient experience in Agile/Lean/SAFe practices.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Strong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies.
Understanding of laboratory environment and IT infrastructure preferred.
