The Program Manager (PM) at Primus International LLC is a pivotal role responsible for managing the customer relationship in both daily operations and long-term strategic planning. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all aspects of product delivery align with customer specifications as outlined in contracts, including adherence to timelines, quantities, quality standards, and any special requests. The PM serves as the primary liaison between the customer and various internal departments, including contracts, legal, manufacturing, and the extended supply chain. This role is crucial for driving internal goals while meeting customer requirements, ensuring that the company maintains its reputation for quality and dependability. In addition to managing customer relationships, the PM is accountable for the successful coordination of planning and scheduling. This includes managing customer Purchase Order and CBO releases to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal requirements, including SOX regulations. The PM will also handle any customer schedule change requests, whether they involve acceleration or deceleration, and coordinate these changes internally to support both internal and contractual requirements. The PM will work closely with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Planners to align program-related efforts with goals for sales, delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role also involves managing special projects, such as new part introductions and improvement initiatives, and forecasting sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The PM will validate and coordinate customer release and change requests, analyze customer satisfaction data and report cards to drive improvements, and engage in long-term planning with customers to foster business development. Additionally, the PM will receive RFQs for new business and negotiate follow-on orders, as well as facilitate payment collections as necessary. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
