Organization: Transplant Admin Support Job Summary: Plans, develops and executes ongoing program(s) that impacts a significant segment of the organization under occasional guidance. . Department Summary: Vanderbilt Health is a leading provider of organ transplantation in the United States, giving hundreds of people new hope and longer life each year. For more than six decades, the Vanderbilt team has been committed to providing lifesaving transplants to people from all over the world. As Tennessee’s only full-service transplant center, we offer the most advanced care for end-stage organ failure in children and adults. Our transplant specialists also perform lifesaving dual-organ transplants, including heart-kidney, heart-liver, heart-lung, kidney-pancreas and liver-kidney. Vanderbilt is the largest, most experienced transplant center in the nation in terms of the number of transplants we perform. Marking a year of dramatic growth, our new record for 2025 was 960 adult and pediatric solid organ transplants. Also in 2025, the Vanderbilt Heart Transplant program set a world record for the second year in a row by performing 210 adult and pediatric heart transplants. The number of patients whose lives were saved by our heart transplant team far surpasses any previous total by an individual transplant center. Vanderbilt's innovation in organ preservation fueled growth for our transplant center as a whole in 2025, saving more lives while producing excellent outcomes. Requirements

  • Program Management (Intermediate): Planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.
  • Financial Processes (Intermediate): Ability to monitor costs, expenses and revenue as well as the ability to manage those costs and expenses in relation to budgeted amounts.
  • Process Improvement (Intermediate): Identifies, analyzes and improves upon existing business processes for optimization and to meet standards of quality.
  • Peer Leadership (Intermediate): The ability to show leadership and influence people of equal rank in an effort to accomplish team goals.
