About The Position

Our client is seeking a Project Manager / Task Manager to support a federal program for the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. This role supports national IT initiatives involving project execution, implementation coordination, stakeholder engagement, scheduling, reporting, risk management, documentation, and closeout activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, information systems, or a related field
  • Current PMP certification from PMI required
  • At least 10 years of relevant project/program management experience
  • Experience serving as a Project Manager on complex federal IT modernization, implementation, or deployment efforts
  • Experience managing a nationwide system implementation in more than 30 locations
  • Experience managing 5 or more project managers
  • At least 7 years leading complex system modernization efforts
  • At least 7 years interacting with key stakeholders
  • At least 7 years managing project resources and planning
  • Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing deliverables for quality and compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting national IT rollout or implementation efforts
  • Experience with federal stakeholders and executive reporting
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, dashboards, and schedule/risk tracking
  • Experience with implementation readiness, training coordination, transition planning, or post-go-live support

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through closeout
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Provide status reporting on scope, schedule, risk, issues, and progress
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business, technical, and leadership teams
  • Manage risks, issues, documentation, and project closeout activities
  • Support implementation planning, deployment coordination, transition, and issue resolution
