This highly adaptable Program Manager will lead projects with minimal precedent with the goal of meeting compliance regulations, proactively managing risk, and realizing additional value in the global supply chain. This role requires the ability to create structure from ambiguity, define clear goals, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders. Requirements

  • Application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools (8 years)
  • Managing complex large-scale business or information technology projects (8 years)
  • Building, leading and mentoring teams (8 years)
  • Mentoring other project managers in program and project management (6 years)
  • General business experience in large, matrixed organizations (8 years)

Nice To Haves

  • Commodities Management: 6+ years experience in commodity (palm oil, paper/pulp, cocoa, cotton, etc.) sourcing, supply chain traceability, responsible sourcing, sustainability, or risk-based methodologies
  • Strategic Thinking: 8+ years experience developing program strategies, project plans and roadmaps in highly ambiguous areas with minimal guidance. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify priorities and define success metrics in undefined and evolving space
  • Visual storytelling: 6+ years experience developing clear, compelling visual communication assets that distill complex and ambiguous information into actionable insights, communicate program status, and drive strategic direction and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an integrated plan that includes program deliverables, strategic alignment, enterprise-wide impacts, milestones, risks, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Update program plans, priorities, and project sequencing as needed.
  • Ensure all project teams working on the program understand and work towards accomplishing the vision, goals, and objectives of the program.
  • Analyze and evaluate project interdependencies and their impacts to the program.
  • Recommend and implement program improvements to meet changing parameters and requirements.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure that key milestones and financial parameters are met and that projects are delivered effectively to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the program.
  • Communicate program status to stakeholders accurately and on time.
  • Escalate to ensure issues are resolved, as needed.
  • Ensure program governance.
  • Coach and mentor team members on developing and maintaining project plans, objectives and schedules that support program objectives.
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure program meets and exceeds industry best practices.
  • Assess, identify, and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks based on country of origin, commodity, materiality, sustainability, human rights, and other.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
