As a Program Manager - Roads & Utilities, you'll lead complex programs that shape transportation networks and utility systems, ensuring safe, sustainable, and efficient infrastructure for generations to come.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 15+ years managing transportation and utility infrastructure programs.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale highway and utility projects.
  • Expertise in roadway design standards and utility coordination.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Willing to work 100% onsite in Davie, Florida

Nice To Haves

  • 25+ years managing transportation and utility infrastructure programs.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Familiarity with design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D) and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Extensive experience with FDOT projects and standards

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of roadway and utility infrastructure programs-from planning and design through construction and closeout.
  • Oversee roadway geometry, pavement design, drainage systems, and traffic control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with FDOT and municipal standards during design and construction phases.
  • Coordinate water, sewer, stormwater, and other utility systems within roadway projects.
  • Work with utility providers to manage relocations and minimize service disruptions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, and performance metrics; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Identify and resolve design, construction, and utility conflicts proactively.
  • Mentor project managers, engineers, and support staff to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
