General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating radar production within the program management office. This role serves as a liaison between customers (internal and external), manufacturing and engineering. Continually reviews status of demand, production output and budgets to ensure products are completed on time and within budget. Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project management, line management, and the customer. Typically accomplishes objectives through subordinate staff. Responsible for decisions that could impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time and resources. This position typically reports to a senior program manager.
