The Program Manager for Quality and Wellness at Stanford University will lead and administer the Improvement Capability Development Program (ICDP) and Quality and Wellness programs within the Department of Medicine. This role involves managing wellness and quality improvement initiatives across 14 divisions, overseeing a significant budget, and ensuring effective project management and team leadership in a matrixed organization.

  • Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions with significant business, regulatory, and technical challenges.
  • Evaluate programs, policies, and procedures, identifying issues and developing alternative solutions.
  • Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations for program goals.
  • Represent the program within the department and at the university level to stakeholders.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategies, including relationship development and compliance.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, managing finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Assess training needs and develop associated training programs.
  • Direct and supervise staff.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and meet budget goals.
  • Experience in project management and working in a matrixed organization.
