About The Position

Overview The Program Manager, Operations Strategic Initiatives, reports to Global Operations Strategy & Program Management (SPMO). This role is specifically aligned to support strategic execution for Knowable Operations. The role leads complex, high-visibility initiatives, including AI-enabled transformation efforts currently in flight, and supports key senior stakeholders in Knowable Operations and the Knowable commercial business. Operating in a matrixed environment with significant cross-functional interdependencies and partnering closely with the Vice-President Knowable Operations, this role is accountable for end-to-end program governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization. The work requires independent judgment in ambiguous situations where delivery approaches may evolve as business and technology landscapes mature. In addition, the role serves as a trusted partner to the Knowable leadership team, managing operating cadence, tracking OKRs and strategic priorities, preparing executive-ready updates and decision materials, and reinforcing disciplined portfolio governance. While primarily focused on Knowable, the role may also support broader Global Operations initiatives and contributes to the continued maturation of the SPMO function with scalable execution practices across Global Operations. Key Responsibilities Initiative Leadership & Delivery Translate strategic priorities into structured, multi-quarter initiatives with clearly defined scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and measurable outcomes primarily aligned to Knowable Operations and Commercial objectives. Lead end-to-end execution of complex, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives — including AI-enabled transformation efforts — coordinating planning, resourcing, progress tracking, and issue resolution across global teams. Operate independently in a highly matrixed environment, applying disciplined program management approaches to initiatives where delivery pathways may evolve and precedent may not exist. Ensure initiatives meet schedule, cost, quality, and operational impact expectations; monitor performance and implement corrective actions or recommend trade-offs as needed. Define and track success metrics and ensure benefits are realized post-implementation. Maintain integrated execution plans and reporting artifacts using best-practice project and program management methodologies; establish scalable templates and governance mechanisms to support repeatable success. Identify and mitigate risks and interdependencies across Operations and Commercial stakeholders, escalating issues with data-informed recommendations. Drive integration of generative AI and other advanced technologies into operational and commercial tools and workflows, ensuring appropriate governance, controls, and measurable business value. Lead and coordinate small cross-functional teams and subject matter experts; provide informal guidance and coaching to junior staff and stakeholders as appropriate. Prepare executive-ready updates and decision materials to support timely, informed prioritization and resource allocation decisions. Support additional Global Operations initiatives as needed, contributing to the continued maturation of the SPMO function. Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture across global teams. Operational Governance & Strategic Execution for Knowable Manage and enhance operating cadence for Knowable Operations, including leadership forums, progress reviews, and structured follow-up on commitments to ensure accountability and momentum. Own tracking and reporting of OKRs and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader Global Operations objectives and portfolio governance standards. Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials that enable senior leaders to assess risk, prioritize initiatives, and make informed trade-off decisions. Drive clarity and consistency in internal communications related to transformation initiatives and operational priorities. Serve as an integrator across functional teams, including Operations and Commercial leadership, enabling coordinated execution in a global, matrixed environment. Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Knowable’s products, tools, data structures, and workflows to support effective initiative delivery and informed decision-making. Identify opportunities to enhance execution discipline, strengthen governance, and scale best practices across initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through completion in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality across stakeholders.
  • Experience driving technology-enabled transformation, including automation, analytics, and generative AI applications.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including practical experience leveraging generative AI and automation tools to drive measurable impact.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project/program management, operations, product, contract intelligence, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft ADO).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority in a global environment.
  • Travel up to 10%, including occasional domestic and international travel.
