The department of neurology is seeking a highly motivated program manager to oversee 30+ advanced practice providers (APPs). The program manager plans, develops and executes ongoing program(s) that impacts a significant segment of the organization under occasional guidance.

Requirements

  • Program Management (Intermediate): Planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.
  • Financial Processes (Intermediate): Ability to monitor costs, expenses and revenue as well as the ability to manage those costs and expenses in relation to budgeted amounts.
  • Process Improvement (Intermediate): Identifies, analyzes and improves upon existing business processes for optimization and to meet standards of quality.
  • Peer Leadership (Intermediate): The ability to show leadership and influence people of equal rank in an effort to accomplish team goals.
  • Networking (Intermediate): Build relationships through industry contacts, professional organizations and individuals.
  • Quality Management (Intermediate): Developing a systematic process of checking to see whether a process or service is meeting specific requirements.
  • Relevant Work Experience Experience Level: 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the APP Director and a mentor to 30+ advanced practice providers within the Department of Neurology.
  • Manage human resources functions, including Workday administration for position and requisition requests, leave of absence and FMLA tracking, payroll adjustments, and additional payments.
  • Take ownership of program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial sustainability.
  • Lead efforts to expand and enhance the program, fostering collaboration and innovation across the department, other units, and beyond.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to individuals involved in program operations, empowering them to succeed.
