About The Position

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our hospital-based Neurology service. This role is focused on inpatient neurology consults and ongoing management of hospitalized patients, working closely with attending neurologists in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Position Overview
The APP will provide comprehensive inpatient neurologic care, supporting the neurology consult service across a broad range of conditions. This role involves acute neurologic evaluations, daily rounding, and care coordination for hospitalized patients.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP (AG-ACNP) required
• Physician Assistant: Licensed PA eligible for hospital credentialing
• BLS and ACLS – by AHA
• Neurology experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Active state license
• National board certification

• Neurology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient neurology consults under physician collaboration
• Conduct daily rounding and patient follow-ups
• Evaluate and manage acute neurologic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (EEG, imaging, labs)
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary hospital teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
