About The Position

This Program Manager plays a central role in ensuring post‑market product stewardship while driving operational excellence across the Molecular Imaging and Computed Tomography engineering organizations within the Imaging segment of GE HealthCare. Positioned within the Lifecycle & Engineering Operations organization, this Program Manager works with cross-functional global teams to develop and execute end of product life (EoPL) roadmaps, support post-market activities, field actions, and organization wide initiatives. This program manager will interface with product and engineering leaders to ensure proper communication and alignment with applicable regions and cross functional stakeholders, thus offering opportunities for significant business visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, or service engineering, research, or related field.
  • 5+ years of technical program or project management experience in a regulated industry (medical devices strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of: FDA design controls (21 CFR 820) and ISO 13485 Risk management (ISO 14971) Product lifecycle phases including NPI, sustaining, and post‑market
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross‑functional programs involving engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority across highly matrixed teams.
  • Strong organizational and execution discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating field actions, complaints, or post‑market engineering programs.
  • Experience working with hybrid Agile‑Waterfall development models.
  • Experience working with external contractors or engineering service partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support EoPL strategy and programs execution across assigned products.
  • Coordinate field actions (modifications, recalls, safety notifications) in collaboration with Quality, regulatory, and Service.
  • Lead integration of field actions related deployment tools and develop corresponding processes for the field teams to use.
  • Lead cross‑functional strategic initiatives and special projects that support with key business objectives, improve engineering maturity, or ensure business continuity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in new product introduction (NPI) program execution excellence.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to drive improved resources planning, execution predictability and efficiency.
  • Identify and execute improvements to engineering lifecycle processes, workflows, and operating mechanisms.
