The Leadership Foundations team specifically aims to enhance the performance, growth, and effectiveness of Apple Retail's store leaders through strategic programs that provide clarity, consistency, and a shared standard of excellence. As a Program Manager, you will collaborate with the Global Retail Support (GRS) team and the People organization to launch outstanding experiences for teams, define future Retail Store Leadership programs, and shape Apple’s performance enablement strategy and operations. You will be responsible for defining exceptional leadership experiences in Apple Retail, including the necessary frameworks, tools, and metrics. This involves leading deep discovery work to identify critical gaps and opportunities in current store leadership operations and developing integrated plans to address them. The role requires a deeply collaborative partner who excels in managing global, cross-functional projects, possesses a passion for Retail, and is committed to providing a world-class experience for teams. Strong program management discipline and a genuine curiosity about organizational effectiveness are key. The ideal candidate can translate ambiguous problem statements into clear, executable plans and effectively engage stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in program or project management within Retail operations, people strategy, organizational design, or a related field
  • Deep field leadership experience in Retail or a background in organizational design and / or leadership development
  • Demonstrated ability to take an ambiguous problem space and build structured, actionable plans — with the cross-functional influence to execute them
  • Ability to lead and navigate organizational change, implementing new insights and/or business process changes effectively within the Apple culture
  • Outstanding organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives
