Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Experience as a clinical nurse
  • RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate PhD, DNP nurse educator preferred
  • Mental Health/wellness experience preferred
  • Research experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Establish a preliminary work plan to launch the Institute of Nurse Well-Being
  • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing needs assessments through multiple methodologies to ascertain nurse stressors and develop strategies to address
  • Develop a multi-modal strategy and approach to normalizing wellbeing into nursing practice at JNE
  • Develop and implement micro learnings that are accessible during nurses daily practice
  • Develop ongoing and dynamic, self-directed learnings and toolkits
  • Develop and provide peer support systems
  • Develop dashboards to KPI’s that will track nurse’s stress, workplace violence and retention metrics
  • Content development in partnership with the holistic and well-being services at Jefferson Enterprise
  • Serve on and liaison with the enterprise mental health and wellness committee as the JNE representative
  • Serve as the as the Nursing representative to the Workplace Safety Committee at JNE
  • Well-being related training and facilitation for JNE leaders and staff
  • Communication and promotion of well-being and holistic health services and initiatives throughout the JNE nursing department
  • Conduct and disseminate at least 2 nurse driven research projects per year related to nurse well-being.
