About The Position

About the Role Are you passionate about building communities, driving innovation, and empowering technical leaders? HPE Networking's CTO Office is looking for a Program Manager to lead our innovation programs and strengthen our Technologist community. This role is about creating impact—connecting top technical talent while fostering growth for emerging engineering talent. You’ll design programs, organize events, and champion initiatives that accelerate innovation across the organization.

Requirements

  • Program Management Expertise: Proven ability to design, launch, and manage complex programs from inception to execution.
  • Technical Awareness: Comfortable engaging with developers and technologists; able to understand technical concepts at a high level.
  • Event Planning Skills: Experience organizing summits, webinars, hackathons, and similar technical events.
  • Budget Management: Skilled in planning and tracking budgets for multi-faceted programs.
  • Communication & Influence: Strong facilitation skills; ability to engage senior technical leaders and inspire participation.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years in program management roles within technology organizations.
  • Experience managing technical communities or innovation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and Grow the Community Develop programs that engage top tech talent, while creating pathways for junior engineers to advance. Foster collaboration and mentorship across technical leadership tiers.
  • Lead Flagship Events Organize Technologist Summits in key locations Plan and deliver tech transfer and emerging technology webinars Coordinate hackathons and innovation days to spark creativity and collaboration.
  • Drive Innovation Programs Manage and evolve an “Innovation Bounty” program Launch new initiatives that incentivize innovation and cross-BU collaboration.
  • Enable Technology Collaboration Advance awareness and utilization of resources that support technical talent growth and career development. Facilitate knowledge sharing and tech transfer across product teams.
  • Own Budgets and Governance Manage program budgets and ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Establish governance frameworks for innovation initiatives.
