GRADE 21 LOCATION OF POSITION Maryland State Police Licensing Division 1111 Reisterstown Road Pikesville, MD 21208 Main Purpose of Job The position oversees the Licensing Division and is responsible for all aspects of the assigned command's operation. The main purpose of this position is to administer the provisions of the Annotated Code of Maryland and COMAR related to: the licensing and registration of firearms; handgun permits; security guards and agencies and other licensing functions as defined by statute or regulation, and their law enforcement services to the citizens of the State of Maryland and allied law enforcement. This position is assigned the powers and bears the associated responsibilities enumerated in 2-412 of the Public Safety Article.
