About The Position

PMI is looking for a senior-level marketing program leader who is responsible for driving strategic alignment, organizational transformation, and operational excellence across high-impact marketing initiatives. This role oversees complex, multi-dimensional marketing programs—often global or enterprise-wide in scale—ensuring they are aligned with corporate priorities and deliver measurable business value. The Program Manager III is a trusted advisor to senior executives, a mentor to peers and junior staff, and a catalyst for innovation in how marketing is planned and executed. This role requires strong leadership, vision, and the ability to influence across functions and levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Project Management, Psychology, or another relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in marketing program or project management, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale.
  • Proven experience working with and influencing senior/executive leaders.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, and organizational change.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing operations, tools, and metrics.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills across all levels.
  • Expertise in project/program management, including resource bandwidth and capacity allocation, timeline and deliverables management, streamlining and scalability approaches, and partner/stakeholder management.
  • CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, and/or other related project management and/or Agile credentials are required.
  • Demonstrated success in project, program, and portfolio management, with highly developed planning and integration skills from an enterprise perspective.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating and sustaining relationships with Boards, senior management, departmental teams, and leaders from diverse geographic and cultural environments/locations.
  • Record of accomplishment of positive business change and results in building, implementing, launching, streamlining, and optimizing new governance models, workflows, and processes.
  • Superior prioritization and organization skills with a keen eye to detail.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C strategic and creative environments, working with and managing internal resources and external agencies, contractors, and vendors.
  • Successfully process abstract verbal and written information to support program strategy, direction, and implementation of action plans, with demonstrated analytical, problem and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Possess leadership and teaming skills and the ability to drive for results.
  • A positive, adaptive, curious, and proactive approach to responsibilities, with demonstrated ability to simultaneously plan, manage, and execute multiple projects in an agile and dynamic customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent writing, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of enterprise-level and Tier 1+ marketing initiatives, driving alignment across global teams, business units, and executive stakeholders.
  • Set long-range program goals tied to business growth and market expansion.
  • Partner directly with senior executives and business leaders to ensure marketing programs align with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate decision-making, investment prioritization, and executive steering forums.
  • Lead complex change management initiatives that elevate marketing performance, agility, and scalability.
  • Champion the adoption of modern marketing and project management practices across the organization.
  • Build and lead marketing program portfolios with rigor around governance, risk mitigation, prioritization, and performance tracking.
  • Facilitate strategic reviews to ensure investment alignment and outcome realization.
  • Architect and lead end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) frameworks for major product launches and enterprise initiatives.
  • Integrate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to drive market impact and ROI.
  • Oversee large-scale resource planning to ensure optimal utilization across marketing programs.
  • Lead reporting tied to business outcomes.
  • Design and implement scalable marketing operations models, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps that enable greater efficiency, transparency, and strategic alignment.
  • Define and track KPIs at the portfolio level, identifying insights to enhance marketing performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead retrospectives and post-mortems for key programs.
  • Represent marketing in enterprise-level initiatives that cross organizational boundaries.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between marketing, product, sales, operations, and corporate functions.
  • Lead high-priority, executive-sponsored projects or turnaround efforts that require senior expertise and broad cross-functional alignment.
