As a Program Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. This role is responsible for driving execution at scale across complex technical programs. This role will forge strong partnerships across key stakeholders and partners, ensuring alignment and delivery of strategic initiatives. The Program Manager III will play a central role in continual improvement, coaching project managers, and enabling operational excellence. Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Leads the highest complexity programs/projects requiring extensive planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, program size may be greater than $25m. Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Acts as a mentor to other program managers. Teams with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels. Requirements

  • Program/project management experience in large-scale technical environments.
  • Proven track record managing infrastructure and data center projects.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Manage large-scale programs across the CTO scope of work, ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure and data center projects.
  • Execution & Delivery: Drive program execution with a strong focus on timelines, quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Provide guidance and leadership to project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continual improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure program success.
  • Communication: Deliver clear and concise updates on program progress, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Champion best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
