Job Summary Responsible for managing all aspects of a large-scale and complex program and corresponding projects. Leads and implements initiatives that support alignment with organizational goals and strategic planning. Oversees communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Develops the program schedule, budget, and various program and project plan details. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and provides regular updates to program leadership. Identifies and escalates issues and risks and recommends solutions. Leads and provides guidance and support to other team members Additional Job Details (if applicable) Reports to the AMC Administrative Director (AD) for Education and indirectly to the BWH and MGH Program Directors and other clinical leaders. Integrated, hybrid role with onsite presence at both BWH and MGH campuses to primarily support daily operations of the residency programs. Manages both residency program credentialing, onboarding, VISAs and HMS resident appointments. Manages residency leave of absence tracking and paperwork submission. Manages graduation events for both BWH and MGH campuses. Collaborates with AMC AD on residency annual accreditation reporting to include but not limited to ACGME ADS, ABA RTID, PLAs and financial agreements, PEC meetings and other meetings and projects as needed. Supports AMC AD on the annual budget cycle and expense monitoring throughout the year. Supports AMC AD, Vice Chair, and Sr. Director on any integrated projects. Supports other administrators on all new resident and fellow orientation assignments. Supports other administrators on all new resident and fellow orientation assignments. Provides coverage for AMC AD and other administrative staff at both campuses as needed. Performs other assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years program management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with medical professionals, faculty, and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with limited supervision.
  • Ability to change work schedule as needed.
  • Ability to travel to BWH and MGH when needed.
  • Some weekends are required in this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance related Graduate Medical Education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads program and project teams and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Conducts research, manages and analyzes data in systems, and develops reports and presentations to support programs.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges associated with programs and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Monitor program progress and proactively address any deviations from plans, timelines, or budgets.
  • Manages the program budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
