About The Position

AeroTEC’s Program Management Office (PMO) is primarily involved in developing the strategy for, and managing the execution of all AeroTEC projects. PMO is responsible for taking direction and inputs from customers, developing program strategy and work plans (schedules, budgets, resource and task management, and customer communication), and creating the road map allowing the AeroTEC team to meet customer goals. We are seeking a Program Manager I to lead the execution of small to mid-sized technical programs in a fast-paced, aerospace and engineering environment. This role is ideal for a program or project professional ready to take the next step into full program ownership while continuing to grow leadership, customer management, and financial management capabilities. As a Program Manager I, you will own program planning and execution from contract award through completion, serving as the primary customer interface and leading cross-functional teams to deliver on scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. You will play a critical role in coordinating engineering, manufacturing, certification, and test activities while proactively identifying risks and driving solutions. This position offers strong visibility, meaningful customer engagement, and a clear growth path into larger, more complex program leadership roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3 + years of relevant program analysis, project coordination, or project management
  • 2+ years in aerospace engineering environment
  • Working knowledge of aircraft certification, design, manufacturing, modification, test desired

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Travel 25% (flying and driving) to various international and domestic worksites may be required.
  • Driving personal vehicle for errands required.
  • State driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of small to mid-sized programs across design, manufacturing, modification, certification, and test phases.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS), budgets, and resource plans.
  • Establish and manage program baselines for scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Lead routine customer communications, program reviews, and status reporting.
  • Build strong, professional customer relationships and resolve issues independently when possible.
  • Align internal stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Track and manage program budgets, revenue, and cash flow.
  • Prepare, review, and update Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Identify cost and schedule risks early and assist in the identification of, and implement, mitigation plans.
  • Maintain and manage program risk and issue registers.
  • Support or lead small to mid-sized proposal efforts, including scope, schedule, and cost inputs.
  • Contribute to solution development by assessing trade-offs in cost, schedule, and resources.
