About The Position

The Healthcare Training Program Manager will oversee all aspects of healthcare job training program, which trains West Baltimore residents in the Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, and Medical Front Office careers. The Manager is responsible for the management of client recruitment, enrollment, education, case management, and reporting. The position's ultimate goal is to reduce training participants' diverse barriers and place them into careers through the effective implementation of targeted programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Business, or Non-profit management.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in case management, program design, and grants management.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Business, or Non-profit management.
  • Preferred LMSW certification.
  • Supervisory experience and partnership building.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery and management of Bon Secours Community Works' Healthcare Training Program, including the implementation of effective case management services, financial coaching, job preparedness education, and employment resources.
  • Work collaboratively with case managers and employment and financial services staff to develop strategies for eliminating barriers, building participant capabilities, and increasing employability of clients.
  • Monitor and analyze program metrics to improve program outcomes. Submit internal and external reports to ensure program compliance and quality.
  • Refine and standardize all aspects of program design and document it in a standard operating procedure. Ensure that all staff adheres to the guidelines, policies, and procedures detailed in the program standard operating procedures.
  • Cultivate and formalize external partnerships, including but not limited to those with employers, legal aid, housing agencies, and childcare centers.
  • Facilitate client development groups using evidence-based manuals and curriculums.
  • Design and implement communication strategies to promote work. Deliver presentations and participate in conferences that communicate program strategies and outcomes.
  • Ensure grant compliance and work in partnership with the philanthropy department to draft grant applications.
  • Coach and mentor staff based on key performance indicators and performance priorities.
