This position serves as the program manager to the Chief Equity Officer by overseeing and leading functions, assignments, and projects that support successful operation of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and influence achievement of the mission and strategic goals of the College. Duties include but are not limited to working with the Chief Equity Officer to develop diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and accountability initiatives across the institution, and participating in committee work and special assignments on behalf of the Chief Equity Officer, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in support of faculty, staff and students. The incumbent must be capable of adapting and operating within the College's institutional vision, strategies, and direction. Works independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Demonstrates commitment to continuous quality improvement and to providing outstanding service to a variety of internal and external stakeholders and maintaining an overall standard of excellence for the staff in the Office of DEI.
