About The Position

The Program Manager for Digital and Technology Services at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex projects related to Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Technology. This role requires exceptional knowledge of program management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple related projects effectively. The Program Manager will supervise project managers, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project completion while fostering a collaborative environment among stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare IT, or related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
  • At least 15 years of solid experience as a project manager in medium to large complex projects with increasing responsibilities required.
  • At least 3 years of Program Management responsibilities experience in large complex programs required.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in relationship management.
  • Familiarity with information security policies and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of a portfolio of related projects and lead large complex projects with significant risk.
  • Manage and track aggregate budget and resources, implementing project budget controls as needed.
  • Collaborate with Executive Sponsors and Program Managers to define project scopes and resolve critical issues.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve associated issues, and ensure stakeholder involvement in timely project completion.
  • Generate and distribute program status reports and metrics for stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships related to the project portfolio.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor project managers.
